Emily Irene VanCamp (Canadian actress) is well-known for her lead roles in numerous television shows, as well as her outstanding performances in film. Her work is a hit on Canadian and American TV. At the age of Emily was 12, she began to become fascinated by acting after she visited her sister Katie while filming one of her film. She started taking classes in acting, and then auditioning when she realized that she loved acting. In the beginning, she scored a handful of commercials, and then was included in the Canadian children's horror television series Are You Afraid of the Dark? The only part she was in was one that was silent. The first time she was seen on screen was around the age of 15 after she was spotted on the show on WB's Glory Days as a regular. Emily's role in the show by WB Glory Days that was cancelled after nine episodes, attracted the attention and casting of Greg Berlanti from Dawson's Creek. Emily has also been a professional dancer, a photographer and was named as one of the top 20 teens' actors. The actress was named the 51st in Maxim's Hot 100 list of 2014.
