April Lockhart

April Lockhart, born in 1995 on the 4th of July, started taking guitar and piano lessons at seven years old. Her interest in creating songs was sparked. April Lockhart wrote her first track"Different" at 12 years old. At the age of 14, April devoted much of her time to singing and writing songs. Over the next few months, she started taking writing excursions along with her father in LA as well as NY. April began to include additional relevant subjects into the song, which she called the Take my Hand song for some close friends, like peer pressure disabilities and teen suicide. Lockhart is a well-known lifestyle influencer, as well as being a partner with brands that are clean and healthy like Ilia, has built her own fan base. She was born without a left hand, and it makes her unique. However, this isn't the only thing about her. The account on Instagram of Lockhart doesn't deny her handicap. It also doesn't insist on the issue. What message is it sending? It is important to remember that we all have many faces, our identities are varied and we're much beyond our body. I don't want that to determine me. I do not intend to become an influencer where it's the only thing I discuss because there are other elements to my life. Lockhart states in video form from her home in Nashville. This doesn't have any effect on my everyday life. I go about every day as normal and have found my own method of adjusting to things. This is also part of my personality, and it's something that needs to be addressed. Lockhart inspires us to keep striving to be self-accepting. Even so, Lockhart admits having moments that made her feel uncomfortable about her appearance and wearing clothing with arms. Today, she wears anything she wants. and she shares her pictures to social networks. Self-love she said is a kind of journey. "I do not think that you'll be there," she said. It's a journey, I don't think you ever get there. It's important to have people in your life who know and appreciate your situation. They will be the ones to ask what you worry about?
